Book A Session
The parts of a person that shape them most are often the least visible.

I grew up without plumbing.

There were times my parents didn’t know how food would make it to the table.

I grew up across five countries, changed schools often, felt like the outsider, and for a time, used substances as a way to cope.

At the time, none of that felt like a gift. It felt painful. Unfair. Sometimes simply too much.

But looking back, many of the chapters I would once have erased are the very ones that gave me depth, perspective, resilience, and direction.

That is why @mo_gawdat 's Solve for happy stayed with me. The idea that some of the experiences we would never have chosen can, in hindsight, become part of our strength, deeply resonated with me.

Not because pain is beautiful.
Not because suffering should be romanticized.
But because meaning can change with time.

My circumstances shaped me.
They did not define me.

And today, I feel grateful even for some of the parts I once fought hardest against.
“Every person is unique. That is why I do not work by the textbook.”

What model and entrepreneur Zaina Gohou says about my work and why I value working with international people so much.

The most meaningful work never begins with a formula.

It begins with attention.
With nuance.
With understanding who is actually sitting in front of you.

That is why I have never believed in coaching people as if they were interchangeable. Real transformation is personal. It asks for depth, precision, honesty, and an approach that responds to the person, not to a script.

Working with international people is something I deeply value because every story brings its own context, language, culture, pressure, ambition, and way of seeing the world. And yet beneath all of that, the human core is often the same. We all want clarity. We all want movement. We all want to feel more aligned with the life we are living.

Zaina Gohou, model and entrepreneur from New York, said this about my work:

“Anatol doesn’t follow the usual playbook; while he draws from a wide ranging toolkit, his approach is rooted in a wealth of personal and professional experiences, both exceptional and impressive. His genuine care and commitment to helping others result in powerful guidance. You don’t just gain advice; you gain someone who truly comprehends your journey. If you’re looking for a strong ally, whether professional or personal, I highly recommend connecting with him. He offers a blend of battle tested insights, emotional support, and a strategic, results driven approach that’s rare to find.”

For me, this captures something essential.

My approach was shaped through more than a decade of advisory work across different industries, through my own life experience, and through collaboration with behavioral researchers and universities. It is informed by science, but never detached from the human being in front of me. It is structured, but never rigid. It is personal, because that is where real work begins.

People are not templates.

And meaningful change does not come from standard answers.

ENGLISH CAPTION BELOW:

These days, coaching can mean almost anything.

That is exactly why a scientific foundation matters to me.

I believe this work should be more than persuasive words, polished branding, or intuition dressed up as expertise.

It should be grounded.
It should keep evolving.
And it should stay connected to real insight into human behaviour.

That is why I continue to deepen and expand both my perspective and my work.

And it is also why the words of Professor Dr. Rainer Spanagel, one of Europe’s leading behavioural scientists, mean a great deal to me.

“Anatol’s deep understanding of human behaviour is rooted in years of intensive engagement, practical experience, and ongoing exchange with people from a wide range of backgrounds. This has made him an invaluable part of our team. His empathetic way of working with people, together with his ability to initiate and implement necessary change, make him an inspiring and truly indispensable colleague.”

And in simpler terms, what matters most to me is this:

It is not about how I present my work, but how it is experienced by others.

My father once said:

“Expose everything to the light of the question, and pay close attention to the shadow it casts.”

I keep coming back to that.

Loss changes your sense of proportion.

It makes life feel vast and fragile at the same time.
Suddenly, everything is about one moment, and somehow also about everything.

What it has shown me is that resilience is not hardness. It is staying open.
Feeling deeply without shutting down.
Letting pain move through you without letting it turn you cold.

Maybe that is also why it matters to share what we live through.

Because one of the most valuable things we can offer each other is the truth.

What happened.
What it asked of us.
How we kept going.

“Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world." Gustave Flaubert

- More than a view -

Travel has always been a part of my life. Growing up in five countries and moving through the world early on shaped how I see people, places, and myself. Connecting with others has always felt natural. Being curious about how people live, think, and relate has deeply influenced both my life and my work.

Spending time in nature and around wildlife adds another layer to that connection. There is more silence. More watching. More listening. Less doing. It is hard to explain what that does, but it reminds me that we are far more a part of nature than of the fast paced systems we build around ourselves.

Driving through vast, quiet landscapes that we originate from can feel almost absurd. As if we momentarily stepped outside something we created and remembered something we never actually left.

One thing that stood out again and again is that nature does not compare. A rainy morning is not less complete than a glowing sunset. A misty sky does not wish to be brighter. Everything simply is. Whole. Enough.

And so are we.

In a world that often encourages being louder, bigger, and faster, nature offers a different reference point. Mutual respect. Coexistence. Awareness of the whole. Not taking up space at the expense of others, but being part of something larger together.

That perspective stays with me long after the journey ends. 🌍

“The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious.” Albert Einstein

Somewhere along the way, many of us stop listening to a clear inner compass.

Not because it disappears, but because life gets loud and attention gets pulled outward.

One of the greatest honors of my professional life is supporting people in reconnecting with that inner orientation.

Because a clear inner compass isn’t shaped by circumstances. It’s shaped by presence.

A question I return to often, personally and professionally, is simple:

Which story am I telling myself right now?

Looking ahead, something meaningful is taking shape for next year. I’m deeply looking forward to taking my work and my personally developed Multisensory-Coaching™ to the next level.

Same curiosity. Deeper connection. Clearer direction.
